Over the course of the conference, delegates will have heard from the leadership of Canada’s major political parties. Now, attendees are invited to a wide-ranging conversation with the CEO and founding partner of one of the country’s leading polling firms, David Coletto of Abacus Data . Ahead of the next federal election, David will provide detailed insights into the issues foremost in Canadians’ minds, examine the fluctuations of the political landscape, and chart where municipal priorities fit in the national conversation.

David Coletto is the founder of Abacus Data, a leading Canadian polling firm that specializes in helping organizations connect with millennials and Gen Z. As the leader of Abacus Data's team of research consultants and strategists, he advises corporations, advocacy groups, and political leaders on evidence-based strategies to enhance their social responsibility and corporate consciousness.

David Coletto has a doctorate in Political Science from the University of Calgary, where his dissertation focused on how candidate qualities and local conditions affect the outcomes of Canadian general elections. He is a leading scholar on party and election finance and has been cited in numerous publications, including The Globe and Mail, The National Post, The Hill Times, and The Toronto Star.

David is a regular columnist for The Hill Times and serves on the boards of the Ottawa Board of Trade and the Forum for Young Canadians. He is also a proud alumnus of Carleton University, where he earned his BPAPM and MA in Political Science.
