Reporting to the WDTC Board of Directors and working in collaboration with the City of Windsor’s Corporate Leadership Team, the CEO oversees the direction, day-to-day administration, safety, and all other aspects of the Windsor operations of the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel. The CEO must build strong and effective relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, and proactively manage the performance of the Tunnel’s contracted operator, Windsor Detroit Borderlink Limited (WDBL). Overseeing an operational budget of $10M, the CEO leads a skilled staff of approximately 20 individuals provided under a transitional services agreement with the City of Windsor.
