Ripley's Aquarium features North America’s longest underwater viewing tunnel, more than 5.7 million litres of water and has over 100 interactive opportunities including three touch pools featuring horseshoe crabs, sharks, and rays.

Participants will have free time to explore the aquarium after the tour and return to MTCC on their own.

Taste where Toronto began!  Join us on a short walk around old town for a brief history lesson before we enter this historic and fully-restored indoor market to taste Portuguese treats, authentic Jewish bagels, candied salmon, local Ontario cheeses, genuine Ukrainian perogies, butter tarts and the iconic peameal bacon sandwich. These delicacies have been enjoyed by several famous chefs over the years, including Emeril Lagasse, Anthony Bourdain, and Guy Fieri. Learn how one of the richest, most powerful and most famous women in the world learned her business acumen selling carrots in the market's basement. Be sure to attend on an empty stomach because you will sure to be filled to the brim by the end of the tour.

A perfect tour option for the art lover, this experience takes place in a beautiful all-electric glass studio at the Artscape Wychwood Barns. Guests will have the opportunity to design their very own glass-blown paperweight, with the assistance of the incredibly talented staff. The workshop is geared to absolute beginners - so everyone is welcome!         

Please note that glass-blown creations will need to be cooled overnight and will be available the following day. Participants for the May 26 tour will be able to pick up their creations the following day on May 27 at MTCC. Pick-up arrangements will be confirmed at the time of the tour.

Guests will be transported through the decades and centuries, with each stop giving you a snapshot of a unique period of Toronto’s past. Some key sites that will be visited include:

The Royal York, which officially opened its doors in 1929—the largest hotel in the Commonwealth at the time.

The Gooderham Building is the focal point of one of Toronto's most iconic vistas. As you look west down Front Street towards the building's prominent rounded corner, it is framed by the heritage commercial blocks along Front Street, with the skyscrapers of the Financial District towering in the background.

The St. Lawrence Market originated during Toronto’s rapid growth in 1803. Recognized as one of the world's best food markets by National Geographic, your guide will go in depth about the Great Fire that engulfed Old Toronto and the St. Lawrence market in the past.

The tour will finish at Casa Loma. Transport back in time to a period of European elegance and splendour in this former home of Canadian financier Sir Henry Pellatt. This grand castle was a focal point for Toronto’s socialites in times past. Guests will have access to the full home, as well as the beautiful, well-kept grounds. Lunch can be purchased at the Castle’s cafe.
