Strong public services are the front line of equity in our municipalities—and will be vital to Canada’s recovery. Underfunding or cutting public services such as transit, health, recreation, libraries, and even basic infrastructure can make life more difficult for vulnerable and marginalized residents. This session will present a vision for robust municipal funding that supports well-being for all residents through local stories from municipal elected officials, workers, and researchers.
