Saturday, June 4
3:45 P.m. – 4:45 p.m.

FCM, in partnership with the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, is proud to present a panel that will explore “How to build an anti-racist, equitable and inclusive municipality” panel. This will be an interactive and engaging dialogue to further advance the important work of anti-racism, equity, and inclusion (AREI), across municipalities in Canada.

Join this workshop to explore how local governments are taking commitments to advance AREI and turning these into ambitious municipal action. Participants will learn about best practices and hear about the challenges and opportunities to advancing this work collectively. They will gain a better understanding of how local governments can achieve buy-in at the community, organizational and political level to incorporate AREI practices into their mandate and everyday life.
