Are you interested in helping build positive relationships between First Nations and municipalities? Join a growing community of practice building strong partnerships at the local level. Here are some ways to get involved:

Thank you to our Peer Mentors!

We would like to thank the following peer mentors for graciously offering their support and guidance to communities participating in the CIPP program.

Ruth Malli, City Manager for the Town of Ladysmith, BC.

Ruth supported the Town of Ladysmith in working with Stz'uminus First Nation to develop a series of agreements. This includes a water service agreement, a protocol agreement (Naut'sa Mawt (Working Together) Community Accord), and a MOU of issues for further discussion.  Ruth is now sharing this experience with other communities.

Jeff O'Driscoll, P.Eng., Division Manager, Infrastructure, Associated Engineering

As a water engineer with experience working with First Nations and municipalities, Jeff  is currently providing advice on options for upgrading and improving a sewage lagoon.
