Community Infrastructure Partnership Project

Beardy’s and Okemasis First Nation, the Rural municipality of Duck Lake No. 463, the Town of Waldheim and the Town of Rosthern, SK

About this CIPP project

The First Nation is investigating options for waste-to-energy generation and is interested in working with the municipalities to provide a waste stream to the system.  The municipalities are very excited about this possibility as it will not only reduce the burden on their existing sites, but will help improve the local environment.  They're collaborating to explore this potential.
