First Nations Survey

The First Nation - Municipal Community Infrastructure Partnership Program (CIPP) is conducting research that is the first of its kind in Canada; CIPP hopes to update its database of First Nation - municipal service agreements and measure the status of First Nation - municipal relationships across the country. In the future, this database will serve as a networking tool for communities who are interested in peer-to-peer support while developing new agreements.

Furthermore, survey responses notify CIPP of the trends in First Nations and municipal relations across Canada, which can be used to better target CIPP Program Resources to meet the needs of communities.

The survey also aids the CIPP team identify First Nations and municipalities interested in having a CIPP workshop to help build relationships with their neighbouring community or discuss joint servicing opportunities that may exist in their region.

The CIPP survey takes less than 15 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for your input and collaboration on this project.
