Canada 150 Community Leaders

Canada 150 Community Leaders

Hundreds of communities across the country have responded to Canadian Heritage Minister Mélanie Joly's invitation to name a representative to the Canada 150 Community Leaders network.

More than 870 members are now part of the network, helping to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canada's Confederation in their communities throughout this historic year.

Within the network, Community Leaders exchange ideas, information and experiences about the activities and events in their community. Not only that, they bring national attention to local celebrations throughout 2017 and beyond.

Celebrating Canada 150 in your community

Among the numerous activities and events organized by communities, celebrations across the country will include both national signature projects and community projects that showcase regional talent and expertise. Visit Passport 2017's website to discover the list of events in your community and surrounding area.
