Register for information about dangerous goods

How to receive reports about dangerous goods shipments in your community

NOTE: If you registered under PD32 to receive these reports, it is NOT necessary to re-register under PD36.

To receive reports about dangerous goods shipments by railways operating in your municipality, Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs) of FCM member municipalities must register your Emergency Planning Official's contact information with Transport Canada.

1) Provide Transport Canada with the following details about your Emergency Planning Official (maximum of 1 designate per municipality):

• name
• title
• organization
• address
• e-mail address
• office phone number
• cell phone number
• fax number

2) Send your Emergency Planning Official's contact information to CANUTEC at CANUTEC@tc.gc.ca, or

    Canadian Transport Emergency Centre (CANUTEC)
