Webinar ― Sneak preview: The GMF Leadership in Asset Management Program
Friday, January 30, 2015
12:00–1:30 p.m. EST
Public infrastructure is the backbone of our economy and quality of life. The decisions we make today about investments for the future will determine how we yield the best long-term environmental, social and economic value for our communities. Canadian municipalities own over 60 per cent of Canada's infrastructure, and each year they invest $12‒15 billion of their own revenues to build, manage and maintain it.
This webinar introduces the Green Municipal Fund's (GMF) new Leadership in Asset Management program (LAMP) — why the program is being developed, its goals and how your community will be able to participate. LAMP will raise the bar on infrastructure management by combining GMF grant funding with a peer learning program for communities that want to better integrate sustainability goals with infrastructure planning and investments.
