Presented by the Partners for Climate Protection program

Monday, March 31, 2014

12:00–1:30 p.m. EDT

Session summary

More and more local governments are considering district energy systems to manage community energy consumption, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and grow local economies. While the benefits of district energy are well documented, many local governments lack the tools to fully assess the potential social, economic and environmental impacts of building district energy systems in their communities. Find out about several tools and resources to support your community in evaluating the impacts of district energy systems. These resources cover how to forecast GHG reductions, how to build a business case that integrates a broad range of social and economic outcomes, and more.
