Bradley (Brad) Woodside is Mayor of the City of Fredericton, NB. 

Born in Fredericton on October 9, 1948, Mayor Woodside was first elected to City Council in 1981. After two terms as councillor, he was elected mayor in 1986, serving five straight terms before resigning in 1999. He was returned as mayor in 2004, and on May 12, 2008, was re-elected for a record eighth term to become the longest-serving mayor of Fredericton. Mayor Woodside has an honourary doctor of laws degree from St. Thomas University.

Mayor Woodside has spoken many times on the subject of youth substance abuse, including at conferences in Israel, France and Italy. In recent years, Mayor Woodside travelled abroad to China and Korea to promote immigration. He is married to the former Anne Sneyd, and they enjoy spending time with their children.
