The mayors of Canada's largest cities today met with federal Infrastructure and Communities Minister Amarjeet Sohi and Families, Children and Social Development Minister Jean-Yves Duclos to discuss design considerations for the next phase of federal infrastructure programs. The meetings mark the start of substantive consultations between the two orders of government on the remaining $48.1 billion in infrastructure funding to be allocated in budget 2017.
